We did what we set out to do last night in our trivia game. We bested our opponent by exactly the number of points that we needed to qualify for semifinals.

Are we celebrating?

No, not yet!

The first place team was mysteriously absent for the first time on a Tuesday trivia night for the entire season. Will they play a makeup game another night or in another spot?

We’re a seasoned enough trivia team to know that it’s not time to celebrate – until it’s truly time to celebrate!

Teams still have a chance to play makeup games before the season ends. It’s what we’d do if we needed to – and could do it, after all. It isn’t an option open to us since we can’t play Thursday – and we  already used our “makeup game” option fairly early in the season.

Final scores for the season will be posted Wednesday, September 10.

I’ll go ahead and request the tournament days off – just in case! 🤞
