Trivia Recap – August 14, 2025 – McShane’s Pub – My Trivia Live – Ypsilanti, MI

Our most recent trivia game was a reunion of sorts 😊 With one person subtracted –
and a couple of others added!

Rewind a couple of months to the Sporcle Events Globe Games. We attempted to do a merger of players from our trivia team with players from the Sparty On trivia team.

Almost all of those players met up again at McShane’s for a recent My Trivia Live game! The only one not playing – Stacy – was on the mic hosting the game.

The two players who couldn’t play the Globe Game in June were myself – and my husband Mike.

It was interesting to finally meet the “new guy” – a player named Archie –Β  who played for the first time at that game last June. Our friend Dave recruited him to help us at the game last June, and invited him out to the game at McShane’s. He turned out to be a big help on a geography question that stumped the rest of us!! ✊🌎

We hope that he’ll be able to help out at some more of our games in the future 😁

Side note, this wasn’t the first time we’ve played with someone named Archie on our team. May the other Archie – who backed us up at regular games and tournaments – rest in peace (he passed away in 2019 and we all miss him dearly). πŸͺ¦πŸ˜’

As for how we did in the game? We finished second with 63 league points and won a $20/second place prize (no teams got the final question correct).

We are still not too hopeful about qualifying for semifinals at the end of this season. We just can’t seem to move up from third place. But that doesn’t mean that we’re giving up!

This question was pretty convoluted, and I don’t want to get it wrong, so…here’s my  abridged version:

No teams got this correct.
