Last week was a bit too “whirlwindy” for me when it came to trivia! Three trivia nights – or more in a week – used to be no thang for me in my wilder days 10 ish years ago, but it’s a bit much for me now! 😅

It started off with Kim and I fretting about possibly playing an outdoor music quiz game during a heat advisory. Thankfully the game was moved indoors.

Tuesday, we did our general knowledge trivia at McShane’s – and my husband and I were very outnumbered. Both of my semi-regular “helpers” were unavailable for our McShane’s game last week, and one of them is still on vacay this week, so…

Also last week was a second music quiz game with about 20 total teams! It was fun, but bordered on a bit too chaotic and loud for me at times. Going to a new trivia spot for the first time always has its challenges…

My husband and I are holding down the fort by ourselves on most of our trivia nights, and we’re #3 right now out of a very tight set of scores at the top of the standings at McShane’s.

We knew we’d be in for a fight playing in this competitive trivia spot!

Playing in a bar that offers two trivia nights is certainly a different dynamic. Overall scores from both nights are tallied in My Trivia Live games, instead of each night being stand-alone like in the Sporcle Events league.

It looks likely that we’ll be able to play both Tuesday and Thursday this week. But it’s not etched in stone yet.

I’m keeping my sights on the finish line in a few weeks!!
