Update- the host has recently posted that tonight’s music quiz game will be indoors!!

We’re going to strongly advise other teams coming out for Sporcle Events music quiz at Corner Brewery to not sit too closely to us! Are we worried you’ll try to get hints from our brainstorming? Not really!

Though we are confident enough in the antiperspirants/deodorants that we’ll be applying copiously to our armpits before the game, so we don’t look like this guy…

We still don’t want to risk someone getting so overwhelmed by possible failed deodorants on our parts to have to call the EPA to complain about the environmental hazards that we pose!

Myself and my music trivia “pardner” Kim openly asked that the host not do the games outside tonight. We understand that he feels that he can get more players to sign up to play if he does the games outside.

Also, he just lost an Opinionation show in Tecumseh because Tecumseh Brewing Co. closed. He wants to look after his bottom line, we get it.

We also know that no one is forcing us to come out to these shows. Nothing but our combined addiction to – and love for – music trivia!

But is putting the health and safety of your trivia players less important than getting the numbers you want for your show?

I guess so! Let’s see how many people are sitting inside versus outside at game time!

I am bringing my own insulated mug of ice water (no alcohol for me until we move inside) and all of the tiny fans that I own.  Fan #3 is charging now! I’ll need to grab a power bank if I want to bring a fourth fan! 😂

I see plenty of other people at this bar with their own insulated mugs of… whatever – at the bar. Are people smuggling in their own hooch in these? Inquiring minds want to know!

Another local host nicknamed “Robear,” who has an “outdoor optional” game tonight, said he’s made the call to set up indoors because of the humidity. 🤔

A local trivia spot called Original Gravity in Milan does their shows outside in the summer and fall when it’s not raining. Players can also play along inside. This raises questions about cheating, of course (always a ripe conversation topic for any serious trivia playas).

It’s looking like it’s gonna be a hot one out in the beer garden tonight! Let’s hope that our music mojo is as hot as our core temperatures! We already have two teammates who won’t come out to play a game outside when it’s this hot!
