The only real change in our trivia plans next week are to play a Sunday game at the YpsiAlehouse. Even though we won’t be in the “running” for anything but possibly prize money. It’s a slightly nostalgic spot we used to play regularly – I have the day off – and I have three whole players who can make it out – so… why not?

Also I still have prize money we won there in January!

Other than that, we’ll also play our “regular” weekly game at McShane’s Pub. Which day? Tuesday? Thursday?  TBD. I have to see if I have anyone besides my husband and I – who can play, and which, if either, day works better for them.

Honestly, Thursday works better for me, but I can be flexible!

I’ll be more focused on music quiz games from now on, especially now that I know they carry some weight for tournament purposes!

A weekend music quiz game is on my calendar.

I played some music quizzes on the Sporcle site last night. After missing a recent question about a Cream song, I figured it was time for hitting the “books!” Side note, Eric Clapton WAS in a lot of groups, was he?

I can’t really do recaps of the music quiz games. Why? Mainly because they’re all audio clues.

I’m really just a “helper” on the team I’m playing with now. Kim’s broad knowledge of the music scene across the genres and decades never ceases to astound me!

But that doesn’t mean that I don’t want to help pull my weight in categories that might be weaker ones for her. Not there are that many of those!
