I don’t see us being able to do the required “play every week” routine necessary for semifinals qualifying in the My Trivia Live league next season. I can’t predict my work schedule, let alone the future. Also, what if a new late season spot close to us opens up? This has happened before.

I do know that trivia games will likely continue for us at McShane’s next season. I mean, it’s the closest MTL spot to us that we’re willing to play! We played at MASH once and… we just didn’t like it. Weird seating, shitty acoustics and too fancy or should I say “gentrified” of a vibe for us. It is really cool what they’ve done with a historic Ypsilanti building, but that doesn’t mean that I want to hang out inside of it. Unless it’s a Halloween 👻 tour or something!

I don’t want to say anything that I can’t promise for sure. It may well work out that we’ll end up playing at McShane’s every week, maybe we won’t. It’s just too early to say.

We are not trying to dominate any Sporcle Events spots for now, and do not plan to try playing in the next Globe Games in June (two of us will be out of town). Any Sporcle games we play in the months leading to June will be one offs, not weekly commitments. I would like to try revisiting spots we haven’t played for a while!

All I can say for sure is that the trivia games will continue for us – until they don’t! It sure took us long enough to return to “in-person” trivia after the 2020 pandemic!
