Trivia Recap – Game #845 – February 19, 2025 – Corner Brewery (Ypsilanti, MI)

Scroll all the way down for the answers…

Fifteen trivia teams battled it out on a recent chilly Wednesday evening at Corner Brewery, known “officially” as Arbor Brewing Company (Ypsilanti). Recent scores haven’t been posted on the Sporcle Events site as of yet, but it “appears” that razor thin leads exist among the top three teams Don’t Forget to Strip Your Bartender, You’re Resume Sucks and 24 Hour Brunch. I think we remain somewhere in the top 10 after having played five out of the past seven games.

As for this game? It was ALL about the final questions! You know then trivia teams joke about trivia being all about the final questions? There is some truth to that! About those final questions…

As you may have guessed? We missed both of those! Which means we missed out on prizes. So, so frustrating after having finished in the top three going into the final for both games – getting a nerd point no other teams got correct, acing the World Cup Mystery Round AND the Black History Month mystery round (we are usually hit or miss on that category).

We will be taking a couple of weeks off from playing at Corner, since we do not have enough available players for a Corner Brewery trivia night next week (three are unavailable) and I work the following Wednesday. I won’t bother going out to play here unless I have four players or more. Don’t feel TOO sorry for us, we do have other places to wage our trivia battles – places that don’t require that we bring a small army of players to have even a shot at a prize!

Special shout out to “guest” player Kevin S., formerly of league team Ennui, for helping us out in this game on several questions!

Speaking of questions, how about some questions?

We were in third out of 15 teams going into the final with 50 points, tied with Imagine the Gilmore Girls Just Got a Bit Darker, behind My Type on Paypah, 51 and Your Resume Sucks, 53.

To see the rest of the teams and scores, here ya go:
