Aside from the amusing commentary about Celine Dion singing everything into submission, I was very amused by this quote regarding the Coolio song Gangsta’s Paradise and its use in a movie soundtrack:
“That movie, where, like, you know, that white chick goes into the hood to show everyone how to get good grades.”
It helps if you know that Butt-Head from “Beavis and Butt-Head” is saying it!
I’m learning quite a bit! I didn’t know Metallica’s original bassist Cliff Burton died in an accident nearly as bizarre as the one that killed guitarist Randy Rhoads. There are plenty of bands the writer Rob Harvilla dishes about whom I’ve never heard of before now.
And yes…Tori Amos DID play the piano like she was trying to impregnate it! 😂 🎹 💕
