Who else will be getting their trivia fixes tonight?

I had to use an ATM today to withdraw cash to give out to a couple of players who helped us win second place in the recent Sporcle Events Globe. Of course, that seemingly mundane errand just HAD to be more complicated than it needed to be! I tried using the closest ATM that would not charge any extra fees, but nope, it was out of order 😔

Sure, I could have driven to another fee-free ATM, but… why waste the time and gas? 🤷‍♀️ Six of one, half dozen of the other…

Luckily there was another financial emporium close by, so I used their drive-up ATM. To my delighted surprise, this ATM dispensed cash however you needed it – I could pick how many of each bill I wanted! I guess these machines have gotten more sophisticated. Truth be told, I don’t pay for anything with cash very often, nor do I use the magical machines that dispense cash often, either. I remember first seeing my mom using these when I was just a kiddo.

Hell, I’ve just barely begun to master the fine art of remote check deposits! My credit union only started offering this service fairly recently.

Now all I need to do is get change for a five!
