Note: This will be very, very abridged, I have two competitive trivia games over the weekend and want to enjoy a little bit of down time this evening! Also no answers…

AI generated image…those are not my feet, though I do love cute socks!
Two of us paid a visit to McShane’s Pub in Ypsilanti on a recent chilly December evening. McShane’s has become an “occasional” spot for us to get our trivia fixes. How nice that the host Stacy will reserve tables for her regular players 😉
Teams of various sizes were in the mix on this night from extra small (2 players or fewer) , small (3 players), medium (4-5 players) large (6-8 players) to extra large (9 players and more)!
On this particular evening, the Detroit Lions were battling the Green Bay Packers in a home game at Ford Field. Some of the patrons at this bar were (obviously) watching the game. There were even some Packers fans in the house 😂
Since this is Michigan and not England, there was no apparent hooliganism amongst the rival fans! Honestly, Michigan is pretty much a Lions state, though there are fans of Packers, Steelers and other NFL teams in Michigan, too. I have a friend who is a ddvout Bengals fan, and another who still roots for the Browns! Eternal optimist? 🤔?
As for the trivia game, we were tied with two other teams for first with 56 points going into the final, but didn’t get the final question correct.
A random summary of our misses:
- What organ is tripe made from?
- Which four living actors have exactly three acting Oscars (we only got one correct)?
- Who was the UK’s first prime minister?
- what athlete created the linebacker position and is in two sports halls of fame?
- Who is standing behind George Washington in the painting of the Delaware River?
And the final question wanted to know which food item – of which there were two varieties totaling 80,000 pounds – was involved in a massive recall by Costco in October, 2024 because of nor stating that the product contains milk?
This was a “nope” for us!
See y’all in the next recap!
