Qualifying teams for the upcoming My Trivia Live semifinals in early December should be posted today. Will ours be among them?

Sadly, the trivia spot where we were playing – Powell’s Pub – stopped offering trivia almost as soon as we started playing there. So I’m not expecting much. It’s possible I’ll find a seat with another team needing players even if we don’t qualify.

I did manage to get the day off just in case!

When we start playing in the new season, we may need a new league number. That is, if Powell’s doesn’t get back on board. McShane’s Pub is the best option for us, though our days of being able to commit to playing trivia games in the same place, same time every week are long behind us. McShane’s offers trivia twice a week, which gives us options!

I’ve been sick for a few days, but I’m hoping I’ll feel like a game in the next day or two. I’m feeling better by the day. By the hour, actually!

it will also be a crapshoot as to whether we can play in a Sporcle Events Globe Game in December, too. We didn’t play regularly enough to be able to be among the first teams to RSVP for a spot, so it may be slim pickings if we get anything at all. After the rough year we’ve had with a multitude of personal struggles, it will be nice to end the year with a couple of high-stakes trivia to-dos! Even if we don’t manage to “do” anything at any of them! Even harder than answering the questions is finding players to fill the seats at our trivia tables! 😂
