I learned just today that a bar in Ann Arbor, MI called Haymaker has closed. It was purchased by Sporcle in some form several years ago and featured a few trivia nights – and later, Opinionation games each week.

I only ever visited this place a few times, but it seemed like a good trivia spot. I remember when it was previously known as The Arena (look for it on Bar Rescue), and even before that, some German restaurant (I want to say either The Old German, or Metzgers).

This is of course sad news for the workers and game hosts whom are now unemployed.
