I’ve been feeling a bit like the girl on the left lately. Hotter than Mordor work environment, new hires eating up payroll without doing any actual work, co-workers and old trivia rivals with attitude, finally having a weekend off and having to hit the road…

It will be OK when I see the river at my mother-in- law’s house in a few hours, right? A river filled with drunken idiots with daisy-chained tubes? Sigh, it won’t be the same without hearing my recently departed father-in-law’s hilarious commentary and friendly attempts to engage with the drunken water lubbers. It’s all starting to hit me now how much I miss him 🥺
