We were roughed up quite a bit by the questions in tonight’s trivia game R Powell’s Pub. I mean…look at me – do I look like someone who would be able to successfully answer a question about a New York fashion event?

I ain’t getting an invite to the Met Gala anytime soon! 😃

As fortune would have it, we still managed to finish in third place, moving up from fifth after (wait for it) getting the final question correct. We’re not very talented at doing THAT these days! Though I heard that at first, I was going to be in a tiebreaker with another team (turns out that the tiebreaker wasn’t needed). I was bummed, because I love tiebreakers😍

Hats off to the trivia host Stacy, who managed to bring us out of self-imposed trivia “exile,” as it were, at least in the My Trivia Live league. I can’t make any hard promises about us being ” back,” or anything as crazy as that. Even if we do squeak our way into a semifinal spot, there’s a really good chance I’ll have to work that day. I’ve already put in for quite a bit of vacation time around that time, and I can’t be too greedy. Also, one of my primary players is generally unavailable Saturdays because of board gaming commitments!
