This is probably the first and last time you’ll ever see a “Friends” meme on this blog site! But, Your Honor, I have a point and intend to make it!

Truth be told, I’m not even exactly sure what this meme even means. Something about Ross f—ing some other girl while he and Rachel were together? Honestly, besides, knowing the names of the characters and actors of this series, I don’t know much else! Did they all live together and have highly caffeinated group sex? On network TV, not too likely! Though I’m sure there was some serial tension among the main characters, otherwise who would bother to watch it?

Rest assured, things are not THAT exciting on our trivia team! Though we did take a “spring break” from trivia games for a couple of weeks! This was due to a combination of things – one, my husband getting a new job, and two – things getting a bit stale at our Sunday trivia spot. We decided it was time to take a break and try hitting the “reset” button. Seeing different faces will be a nice change!

Tonight, my husband and I will hit up a “new to us” trivia joint fairly close to home, without any thoughts of making it a permanent spot. I don’t have a group of regular players who can meet up in the same spot, same time, every week anymore. When I am fortunate enough to get at least one, or ideally two helpers, we’ll try to make a trivia night of it in a place we can all easily get to (either by car or on foot/bicycle). That can be more difficult to do than you might think! Between my unpredictable work schedule, another player’s unwillingness to drive to trivia games, our unwillingness to drive him to games, my own random hangup about certain local trivia spots, another player’s busy family life…if we can all sit together at a trivia table every other month – it’s a monumental accomplishment! I think December 2023 was the last time I had four players at a game! I tried doing that this week, but nope…

I’m not expecting too much tonight, just a nice night out!
