Things have never been easy for our trivia team. And this current Sporcle Events season is no exception! We’ll play our seventh game of the season overall today at our “home bar” aka the YpsiAlehouse in Ypsilanti, MI. We’ve only managed to play three games at this place so far this season, so we’ll have to try digging ourselves out of the hole. Anyone see Kill Bill where Uma Thurman’s Beatrix Kiddo character has to dig herself out of her own grave? Yeah, kind of like that, except no coffin, only minimal martial arts skills, no yellow motorcycle outfit…what was the name on her grave? Paula something? Damn, now I’ll have to look that up!

So yeah, we need to do better! Three sucky games in a long season is no real indicator of anything, really, but I still have SOME competitive trivia fire in my belly, after all! Maybe some lingering embers, at least?

All we can do is the best we can with the three playas I’ve got these days. Last game, we really shoulda listened to Brad a bit more!
