We’ll finally be getting ourselves back into trivial pursuits again Sunday after having not played since February 4. We’ve been off to a slow start this year, mainly because I called off two games due to our local NFL team, the Detroit Lions, having playoff games conflicting with trivia game times. Also because of that pesky thing called the “Super Bowl” which canceled all trivia games within a driveable radius. On my birthday, of all days! The humanity! 🤨

I was totally willing to make my husband drive 28 miles to a game out of town to get my trivia fix, but nope, even THAT place canceled trivia because of the Super Bowl. Having the Lions in their first Super Bowl ever would have been the best birthday present ever, but.. that was not to be. As a result, I didn’t even bother watching the game this year, though I did monitor scores.

I still had a very nice time on my birthday, I had a free lunch at Ann Arbor’s Northside Grill, and afterwards, we checked out Island Park. Pictures or it didn’t happen that I was able to get outside in February – and not have to wear an actual coat!

it will be nice to get back into Sunday trivia again after so many delays! It will be even nicer to get out of the prizeless slump we’ve been in all f—ing year so far!
