We paid a visit to a local “whiskey bar” in Ypsilanti, MI called Mash for its trivia game last night. We had trouble hearing some of the questions well when the bar got noisier in the second half of the game. That’s not to say that not being able to hear the questions well was the only reason we missed some of ’em!
Visiting a new trivia spot for the first time is always kind of a “trial and error” thing. Like throwing cooked spaghetti at the wall to see if it sticks!
We’re not planning to make this a regular trivia spot, but it is attractive because the draft beer specials make bar tabs reasonable, and its location is close enough for our third amigo to walk to it!
Speaking of our third amigo, he was definitely the game MVP, nailing questions about birds and sports, in particular! I helped us get a question correct about bowling (I was a junior high bowler, it’s when I learned to swear), and my guess on the final question was correct. No prizes, though!
Don’t expect too much out of a trivia recap of this game! Things were not…ideal, and I didn’t even catch all of the answers.
Stay tuned!
