It will be a minute until I have time to do the recap of last night’s trivia game since I work tomorrow and want to unwind tonight and will probably want to do the same tomorrow night! My next day off is Sunday (patience is a virtue)!

Strange things were definitely afoot! I mean…the Detroit Lions beat the Chiefs! Weren’t the Chiefs recently in a Super Bowl? Sports fans in Michigan are certainly used to disappointment on the pro football front!

My Facebook memories informed that on September 7 in 2015 we had another very good game at Arbor Brewing Brewpub (in downtown Ann Arbor, which is now closed) with us winning two first place prizes! A little more than a month later at the same spot, we would have to borrow a player from another trivia team to help us get a tournament spot, which we got! I specifically remember that the Lions had a victory shortly before our trivia game, and the previous day MSU upset U of M for a last second victory. Are all of these occurrences connected? Hell if I know! 😁

I do think it was kinda cool being able to use two different trivia spots with similar names and the same owners as tournament launch spots! Sigh, those were the days, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss the scrappy competition involved with vying for tourney spots!

I may not feel like jumping on my laptop to type questions, but I’ll give y’all something!
