It’s the first week of this thing called the “new trivia season” and tonight we’ll be in the mix! I’m not expecting us to be top dogs, I’m just thinking it might be a good weekly meet up for three of us “OG” Pods team members. We certainly don’t have all of the knowledge bases covered, and we’re going to make stupid mistakes, but thats…OK! It’s all for fun, right?

I used to be a lot more competitive with trivia, now I’m just grateful when my husband and I decide to do a virtual game, grateful when I can summon friends to join us in a virtual game and when I can get people to show up for live game? Even if they’ve been drinking all day at a Tigers game? Well, that’s extra special! Well, that makes me feel like Cartman when he’s not himself!

Getting into a live trivia gr.ove again hasn’t been easy for us. l have limitations based on my work schedule. We don’t have a lot of players within a 10 mile radius anymore, for another Also, at least a couple of our players often have family commitments keeping them from playing regularly. We may not have enough players to fill the large tables at another trivia spot we played last winter/spring, and we may not be patient enough to have to arrive two hours early to secure seating. We may not be able to handle trivia games in a dark, strobe-lit room, either! But we can handle a Sunday afternoon meet up with our friend from time to time! And isn’t that how life should be?
