I’m in a campground (with wifi) in lovely Bellaire in Northwest MI. A campfire 🔥 is burning cheerfully, a light breeze is blowing and my husband and I are celebrating our 30th year of tent camping together this year!

Incidentally and without me having planned this on purpose, we’re camping in the same general area of MI that we did on our first trip together in 1993. Back then, it cost $6 per night to camp in a rustic site, now it’s $20 to do that.

Fast forward to 30 years later, we’re camping in a private campground that I think used to be a KOA campground. It even has a pool and they sell booze in the camp store! But I’m a bit tired, so…

Time for bed!
