“Aw hell” is not unlike my thoughts while watching season 5 episode 9 of Justified (streaming on Hulu)! First off, two actors from The Dark Knight – Eric Roberts (whom you might know best as Julia Roberts’ brother) is in it, and secondly, another TDK actor is in it, too! He’s not as well known, but I’ve seen the movie enough that even a bit player won’t slip me by! The other actor is Joshua Harto, who played that Wayne Enterprises employee who toyed with blackmailing Bruce Wayne.

But the weirdness doesn’t end here! There’s a scene involving a drug thug (in the top photo) named Hot Rod is being interrogated while being tied to chair. He offers to draw a map to a location for his tormentor (not pictured) if he’d only be provided with a pencil. So I says to myself…

I just bet he’s going to do something terrible with that pencil.

And yup, I was right! Pencil guy one, other bad guy zero, stabbed in throat by pencil. But…pencil guy isn’t long for the world, either.

I rest my case! And can I also mention that I think that the Justified star Timothy Olyphant wouldn’t be a bad Bruce Wayne?

I would also say that Justified is a fantastic sequel to Deadwood, but that’s another blog for another day!
