I’ve talked to one of of my longtime trivia teammates about possibly playing trivia games on Sunday afternoons again. We’ve been very commitment phobic about playing live games regularly, and haven’t successfully found a spot where we can play week after week again like we used to do before the COVID-19 Pandemic landed on our blue marble three years ago.

We tried playing “fairly” regularly at a local spot, but as it turned out, it just didn’t work out for a variety of reasons. These things happen. Sometimes a trivia spot isn’t that into you, and sometimes you’re not into that spot, either. We even tried a “night clubby” spot nearby, and since we’re not fond of seizures induced by strobe lights and playing trivia games in complete darkness, that didn’t work out, either!

So we’ll give the old “Sunday afternoon” trivia spot a try again. One of our teammates practically lives at this place, anyway – especially on Sundays, so if it’s not a struggle to get a teammate to join us, then why the hell not?

Things have been very chaotic in our household lately, with my husband recently losing his job. Perhaps the occasional trivia games – and meeting up with friends – will help distract us from that stress and chaos – even if only for a little while!
