Homo habilis, eat your heart out! I used a cordless drill and with my dad’s help, put up some cordless blinds today.

We also put up a drapery rod in a bedroom upstairs, that project was a bit more gnarly than the blinds. Darn instructions didn’t provide the size information for the drill bits, so we had to guess. Thankfully Dad brought extra wall anchors. It was not unlike performing a botched lobotomy, kind of made me think of poor Rosemary Kennedy, though I digress! Now we have a proper purple boudoir worthy of Prince’s approval. He would probably have a good laugh at some of the dialog “Push – really get it in there, now pull it out.”
