I woke up this morning, made myself breakfast, and started watching “New Detectives” on TV. My husband was still in bed, and ar some point, I decided I wanted to do something a bit…crazy. Since Mother Nature decided she was going to give me and others living near me a white Christmas, I decided that a “snow shanty” was in order! I started assembling gear – Sportbrella, beach umbrella, chairs, space heater, outdoor Christmas lights, extension cord, and voila:

We have a “family zoom meeting” later, and after this, we’ll bundle up and come back out to have some drinks. The Christmas lights will look much cooler after dark!
