Hercules in New York – which is every bit as bad as it sounds – was Arnold Schwarzenegger’s first film role in 1969. He didn’t even know English well enough by that time, and he had a “voice double!” Eventually, he would learn to speak English, at least well enough to do so in that adorable Austrian way – and the rest is cinematic history!
