Just in case you can’t read my horrible handwriting, the following places are listed on this map (drawn by my husband Mike); Keweenaw Peninsula (Michigan’s wang), Grand Island (not to scale), Sault Ste. Marie (freighters), mines, Marquette, pasties, Porkies, Big Mac, Cheboygan, world’s largest quarry (Rogers City), Bay City, Bad Axe, Flint (poison water), Lansing, “The D,” beaches (Lake Michigan coast), farms (mid Michigan), Traverse City and “Up North.” Yes, this pretty much sums up Michigan!
