Got new Comcast remote today. The poor dear had withstood years of abuse at the hands of my spouse. The battery door cracked and wouldn’t  stay on, yada yada. Today the buttons  wouldn’t  work.

So I set up the TV. No problem…But cable box not responding  to anything – not programming, not anything, no codes working. I’m  not an idiot with electronics, I’ve set up audio  equipment, speakers, etc. for countless  things  in the past.

Then my husband  has brilliant idea of unplugging  cable  box and plugging back in.

Now it works….
