I got this scar on my knee  while  chasing  down a news  story in Livonia  in the early 2000s! I was comped  for a box of big ass Band Aids, but not for the work pants I ruined. I didn’t put new pants on the expense report. I was running  across Five Mile Road and took a spill… (stupid dress shoes)! Physical scars are actually  kind of cool, emotional  scars not so much (LOL).
