The 2008 Joyce Carol Oates novel My Sister My Love is a fictionalized “reimagining” of the infamous Jon Benet Ramsey murder case. It was Joyce Carol Oates’ 37th published novel.

It’s still amazing to me that this case wound up going unsolved…although maybe the national spotlight on this case – was a wake-up call to parents who overly “push” their children in competitive pursuits.
