Today, I’ll be doing a post – both here and on my trivia team’s Facebook page – about a local bar owner deciding to drop the My Trivia Live pub trivia company and bring in another trivia company. I’ll be doing my best to walk the “editorial tightrope,” making sure to present the different sides of the story in a fair and objective manner. I don’t want to sound like I’m trashing the bar owner (never, ever piss where you drink, if you will) or the trivia company Geeks Who Drink – who really are NOT the bad guys in all of this (even if I don’t happen to care for their fast-paced trivia format).

I’m just going to try to make “choice” be at the heart of it all. Players have a “choice” where they can play, bar owners have a “choice” about who – if anyone – to serve up trivia nights, etc.

It will be interesting to see what “choices” get made as a result of all of this!
