Nothing  really  huge  to report for the second  half of 2019 for The Pods’  trivial  pursuits! The “fly casual” M.O. will continue, with us making no real “plans” to try dominating  any  particular  spot. We’ll  continue  playing  Mondays  at Sticks  – when the troops want to play, and second  games during  the  week will be “wild cards” (if second  games occur they will most likely be Wednesday  or Thursday). This leaves things flexible if interesting  theme nights come up, or I do any all-women’s  trivia  nights. I am currently  trying  to plan  one of those at Original  Gravity!

I’m  waiting  to  find  out  if MTL gets  another  spot  to replace The Wurst, after losing the Wednesday  night  spot to rivals Geeks  Who Drink. If that show moves next  door to the Tower  Inn, I have players  interested  in playing there some weeks (if show not later  than 8).

Other than not being  really  happy with who won the top spot in Michigan’s  championship Saturday (cough), I don’t  have a whole lot to report  right  now…

Oh, the “captain’s  log” will continue  tallying scores, tracking  our  prizes, etc. so keep checking  it out after our games.
