Perhaps you’ve seen videos of octopuses finding their way through impossibly tiny openings to get to…wherever the Hell it is they’re going. It’s obvious they want to be anywhere but where they are! They have been called “escape artists.”

My trivia team has “cephalopods” as our mascot, and occasionally we wind up…imitating them in our own ways! Take trivia tournaments for example. Cephalopods are rather wily in their abilities to get to trivia tournaments, even if they have to crawl through the tiniest openings to do it. Even if they wind up at a tournament without “intending” to be at a trivia tournament – or trying to get there!

Without burying the lede…I have been cordially invited to play with another MTL team in the next round of tournaments in August. That is all for now! And this time I really am heading out for a nature walk on this lovely, lovely day! )
