I just  got an email  from Sporcle Live letting  me know that the 9 pm trivia  show  at Tower  Inn is “on hold indefinitely.”

My team played  here Tuesdays   on most weeks  beginning  in mid October, when games  started  at 8 pm. Then in January, the host announced  that show  times  were moving  to 9 pm. This wouldn’t  work  for our team, so we called the show  quits  after getting this news.

Four  months  later, it seems the later  start  time isn’t  working out. Maybe the show can’t  survive  the summer (Tower  Inn close  to Eastern  Michigan  University  campus).

The MTL trivia company  used to host trivia  shows  at Tower Inn! A MTL show right next door at the Wurst  Bar has been thriving  Wednesday  nights for years. My team played  here for several  seasons.

What’s up with Tower Inn? I honestly don’t know…Sometimes  a bar/restaurant’s customers  are just  not  into trivia. Sad state of affairs (lol)!
