We’re  canceling  the Memorial  Weekend  camping  trip. We’re  going  to  shorten  the trip to the UP by a day and do two nights  in motels instead  of  camping  three  nights.

We don’t  want  to  lose  a  gamble with  UP weather…even  Memorial  weekend  weather  can  be  quite  chilly  for tent  camping.

We’ve  planned  the trip  so that the driving  time  there  and back  will  be split up – so no 10 hour  driving  days!

This also works well with Mike’s plans  to start  his garden.

We won’t  be  “roughing  it” as much, but  I’m  sure we’ll  still have  fun!

It will be nice to see St. Ignace again – and get  to know Marquette  a bit  better…
