There are really not that many photos of me, my mom and my brother all in the same photograph. Here is one of those rare shots, taken in 1986 at a family reunion in Swartz Creek, MI:

My Uncle Vinnie and Aunt Arlene’s house had KILLER landscaping! Their back yard looked like an arboretum! Speaking of “landscaping,” check out the feathered hair (good lord)! My mother still wears her hair EXACTLY THE SAME WAY. And WTF – I’m wearing (gasp) PASTELS! My brother is wearing deck shoes without socks, which was the thing to do in those days.
