Husband  was  asking  my  opinion  on  the  FX series Fosse/Verdon a few hours  ago. Asked  whether  I thought  the series  was well done. Fair  question…

“I think  it’s  entertaining,” I said.  I know full well he’d  never  watch  the show  on  purpose, any  more  than  I’d  ever  watch Doctor  Who on purpose. Or The  Good  Place   (groan).

“Don’t  pretend  to  be interested. It doesn’t  suit you.”

His response?

“Yeah  you’re  right,” he said, adding “Fuck  you  anyway.”

It’s  all  good! We  have  been  together  almost  27 years! We can be this  honest  with  each  other.
