I saw today  that  a longtime  league  team has recently  logged scores  at a new trivia spot. I have not seen this team name in any league standings in this particular town for… nearly a couple  of years. I will go on record here and say …I’m  glad  to see it!

I saw a while back that this spot was going  to start offering  trivia nights. I’m  not really a fan of the coffeehouse/tap room hybrid. My own town has a joint like this, and I gave its trivia scene a look last year. Games are staged in a heated  tent behind the main building. I called it “Christian Revival  trivia.” While it may be enjoyable  to stop in  here  for a cup of hot cocoa on a cold day or have a beer out back when it’s  nice, it’s not really my bar scene. It’s  too…tame.

I hope this new trivia scene does well, however!  This little town could definitely  use another trivia  spot – best  wishes  for this longtime league  team in its trivial pursuits here.

Wednesdays  are seldom a good night for me to play, unless  it’s  hanging  out  for the game 1 final q at Corner Brewery. I will continue visiting  this  town’s other trivia  spot  Thursdays  when  I can bring  at  least three players   (next week is looking possible).

Not staying out too late on “school nights” is part of my grand plan to get  more sleep…and not get  chewed  out  by  my  boss  for attendance  issues 😇
