My husband and I went to North Bay Park in Ypsilanti, MI today with hopes of getting some good wildlife shots. We didn’t walk away empty handed! We managed to get shots of a muskrat – and a lovely painted turtle! Special thanks to Mike for his patience in getting the turtle shot (we spent quite a bit of time waiting for just the right shot):


I was amazed at how fast this thing could swim! Its tail worked exactly like a little rudder as it did a couple of “laps” in front of us.
