I got a lot of love for this blog site today – as of this posting, I’ve had 109 blog views!
It’s possible I’ll have a game recap to post on Thursday! I will have three players playing a trivia game tonight at the Corner Brewery. It’s a very “special” game where the bar will be celebrating its 300th night of offering trivia. Sadly, I will not be able to play in this game, since I have to work in Retailville tonight. A big UGH to that!
Sigh. We started playing at the “Corner Brewery” from the very beginning in February, 2012. It was “around” Valentine’s Day. We were regulars until about October, 2015 when it was decreed we wanted to sail the trivial “seas” in search of a new trivia spot. It became too difficult for our smaller team to compete against Corner’s many “megateams.” Plus, the trivia scene had become a bit tiresome. It took nearly a year, but we found a new regular spot in August, 2016, which was the Wurst Bar. We played there regularly for nearly two years (counting the few months I played with another female as team GDX), then it was time to “sail” again. Our next trivia spot was Powell’s Pub, where we played for two seasons.
We’ve already picked another regular trivia spot, and will, for the foreseeable future, play Tuesdays at Tower Inn in Ypsilanti. We are, however, eyeing another possible spot as well, and will be checking it out next Thursday. You’ll all be kept in the loop about THAT development! I’m not revealing any more details about that here.

All of that said, if I can get my husband to at LEAST write down the categories, answers and mystery rounds tonight – I may be able to do a writeup Thursday! Time permitting, I do have to fit in time to stuff my face with my family before I head out to work. To be honest, I’d rather just spend the whole day loafing around before heading to work. Not that I hate my family, but…it’s tougher to see them and have to rush out to work than it is to not see them at all.
