Editor’s note: This showed up in my “memories” news feed on Facebook today. This was a “mini-recap” I posted in the days before I decided to post “full” recaps of trivia games. Enjoy! 

Two second place finishes? We will take that! Nice night of Great Lakes Trivia – Detroit for us at Buffalo Wild Wings Ypsilanti in a game night that we dedicated to our teammate Brad, who still remains hospitalized following an emergency surgical procedure last weekend (pancreas was removed). Icing on the cake? Several things. We wagered 20 on both final questions and got both of them right, top tier teams such as More Beer Less Pants, Martin Luther Kings of Trivia and Pen 15 were all in the running and one of us played solo for most of game 1. Also a dark horse team took first place in game one – love it when that happens! Special thanks go out to Pen 15 for adding another Corner Brewery team to the mix  Go Pods!
