I get to work an hour later than usual on Friday, so (yay) I get an extra hour of sleep tonight!

I also get to go out for the trivia game at Original Gravity tonight. With my team not really being in the mix this season, it’s pretty much come down to a showdown between Mind the Gap and This Is Sparta. Mind the Gap has only a six-point lead over the second This Is Sparta. It really comes down to “that” final game on Nov. 15! My money is on Mind the Gap to win the venue tournament this time – and get the tournament spot. As for how they’ll use their spot…and IF they’ll use it, well…that remains to be seen! This is Sparta is a good team, for sure – if they manage to summon the “troops,” they could very well be a force to reckon with in this final game. However, Mind the Gap has a very, very good player on their team (whom is pretty much the brains of the team), and he will be a tough player to beat – even when playing by himself. Experience is going to prevail in this battle. This is Sparta is still a newish team, which will put them at a disadvantage.

As for my team? I’ve only managed to win tournament spots here on two occasions – in July, 2017- and in July, 2018. Most seasons here, I just play at the venue tournaments for fun – just to see how I do – which is what I’ll do this season! Tonight, I’ll have a second player helping me, which should (hopefully) improve our chances for winning some $.

Never a dull moment. The “fly by the seat of our pants non-plan trivia plan shenanigans” continue! I have to admit…it’s been kind of fun! It feels almost like…rebellion! Yeah…my bar for excitement is a bit low these days… If it were any lower, I’d have to become a limbo champion… and THAT’s not going to happen!
