Hey blog stalkers/readers! Thanks for giving this blog site lots of love while I was on vacation. I plan to do some blogs about that trip soon, but first…some rest. I went back to work today, so that means 4:30 a.m. alarm time again (ugh). How did such a night owl wind up getting such early shifts? Yeah, I may whine a bit, but truth be told, getting done with my work day early is pretty damn nice!
The first blog I plan to do is about the Halloween madness that invaded the wee city of Harrisville, MI and its state park last weekend. I was truly…kind of scared – to walk by some of the camp sites that different local sponsors decorated with their scary contest fodder ( but I did walk by in the pitch dark, which significantly added to my sense of dread). There were even some cloaked costumed folks engaging in a ritual that looked like something out of the film Eyes Wide Shut (except no nudity, lol). It was very cool – I hope we can be up there for their party again next year (but be more prepared next time)!
