I just had a Asiago cheese bagel with chive cream cheese at Tim Hortons and and waiting for my coffee to cool down enough to shove at my mouth. Husband is still catching up on beauty sleep in our cabin at Tawas Point State Park (he does need a lot of it, lol). We had our first campfire night last night and it’s rainy this morning (MI weather, don’t ya love it) . Four older ladies are sitting across from me and chatting up a storm. The ’60s tunes playing are probably enjoyable to them! Wait…now they are leaving. “Bye girls, ” one of them says to the others. Too cute.
Now how about a pic?
I love my yellow water bottle with light! We put a rubber spider inside it for a Halloween event the previous night. Yes, Harrisville State Park had a huge Halloween event Saturday…well, the whole town of Harrisville, really! We had no idea this was going on, so we went to a Dollar General store to buy a few Halloween decorations and candy for trick or treaters. We figured 2.5 pounds was enough for an hour, but we were cleaned out in a half hour. Most of the Halloween pics are on the digital camera, so I will have to wait to share those. A grabby toddler tried helping himself to candy from my bowl but rationing was in effect, so I wasn’t having it! “This is why I have a hatchet sitting on my lap, ” I said jokingly to my husband. Really – I didn’t have a costume, so I wore an all black/purple outfit with a hunter’s cap/sunglasses and used the hatchet to complete my ensemble. Axe wielding maniac! Grab too much of my candy and you’ll get the axe!
Coffee cooled down now so I’ll say “Ta!”
