I played in a trivia game at Original Gravity Brewing Co. tonight. And I asked the trivia host to not even log our team number. I really want to give another team at this bar to have a shot at the tournament this time. And more importantly. I want to step back from competitive trivia a bit! It took a huge toll on me last month and brought out some very ugly stuff in my psyche. Never again! I got burned out, and I need to rekindle that fire.

This season, we’re just vying for a tournament in one league instead of two. I think this has really helped restore my love of trivia again. And I’ve been a trivia lover all of my life, as you can see from this dorky photo…

I LOVED these books!

I thought this course of action would be going against my grain, but it really hasn’t! It’s been great. I love the whole “devil may care” attitude I’m allowed to take. And my entire trivia team is also on board with this. I want to try focusing on playing in trivia  spots without  negative  mojo.

Yes, I’ll still be writing trivia recaps! I love writing the recaps (unless I’m in too depressed of a mood, but that’s water under the bridge).

I feel good about this course of action! Trivia on and be excellent to each other!
