Yesterday I was goofing around with this site and I was being prompted to do a couple of “enhancements” to it. Please note that it was probably all a ruse to get me to upgrade to one of the “paid” plans, the cheapest of which is $4 a month and allows for a custom domain name, live chat/email, use of executive washroom, etc. I’m just kidding about the last part! I may wind up doing this upgrade someday, but that’s beside the point!
Anyway, here is my “avatar” whom I created yesterday. I think I will call her Myra since that has been one of my “screen” names in the past (I was Myra Swift on MySpace, obviously I created that name before that whorish singer Taylor Swift took over the charts). I actually created the “Myra” persona in college – she worked as an intern in a local coroner’s office and would sometimes…take her work home with her for further study. Imagine the shenanigans that would ensue when her poor roommates would find a “stiff” in the bathroom! Myra was a strange beast! I’ve always liked the name Myra, it was the name of my cousins’ babysitter back when they lived in Burton, MI (it’s a suburb of Flint). When I take the karaoke mic from time to time, I always use the name “Myra.” Alter egos are fun!
If you do a Google search for “Myra Swift MySpace,” this mid 2000s image will come up in your search (what…you’ve never “Googled” yourself?):

My last known profile pic on MySpace…
“Myra” will now show up in your browser tabs when you visit this site instead of the simple “W” symbol (sorry for that…she’s an attention whore). “Myra” bears only a very, very passing resemblance to the “real” me, since you can only do so much with a selection of hairstyles, eyebrows, etc. I do not wear my hair like this EVER, unless an intrepid hair stylist decides to have too much fun with hair spray, mousse and the blow dryer.ย Note the purple and green color scheme, which are my trivia team’s “official” colors (LOL)! I think she looks like she’s plotting something. If that “something” is taking over my life, well, have at it, “Myra!”ย ๐
