Just to make this fun, I will include extra clues with these questions so that there will be more than one way to know the answer – even if you’re not a hard-core music nerd! Let’s see how many of these you can answer on the FIRST clue! Note: All of these questions will be about older music, so nothing after 1987 or earlier than 1972!

This baby girl’s name peaked at #3 in popularity on the Social Security Index in 1975.
6. Name of 1873 George Bizet opera famous for the Habanera aria in Act 1. Also the first name of actress playing Lani McKenzie on Baywatch. 
7. Title of 1973 Barry Manilow song which hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Also the first name of the actress/singer portraying Rapunzel in the 2009 animated Disney film Tangled. 
8. Name of woman mentioned in the title of a 1981 Tommy Tutone hit single which hit #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. Also the name of Forrest’s on again/off again girlfriend in Forrest Gump. 
9. Title of 1988 single by Toto, which hit #22 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it their last Billboard hit. Also the first name of the Canadian actress playing C.J. Parker on Baywatch.
10. Name of Steve Winwood single hitting #73 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts in 1982, and #13 on the Mainstream Rock charts.  This song was remixed and re-released in 1987, when it hit #9 on the U.S. charts. The song title  is also  the first name of the actress who played Barbara on One Day At A Time. 
11. Name of singer recording the #1 1972 single Brand New Key. Also the first name of the woman nominated for best actress for her role in the 1988 film Working Girl. 
12. Name of #1 Phil Collins single from 1985, with lyrics including “There’s a girl that’s been on my mind…all the time.” And I don’t have any other clues for you here since there is not another known person on this planet who shares this name!
13. Female name in title of 1976 Hall & Oates #4 hit single and also the name of a #1 single for the band Starship in 1986. Also the first name of the actress playing Carrie Bradshaw on Sex And The City. 
14. Name of 1973 #1 Rolling Stones hit single and also the first name of the actress playing Kate Miller in the 1980 film Dressed to Kill, and the first name of the title character in a TBS comedy series starring Rashida Jones.
15. Title of 1982 Toto song which hit #2 for five weeks which is also the first name of an actress in Pulp Fiction. The song is also about her. I’m not giving any other clues with this one! 🙂
16. Real name of the woman nicknamed “Layla” in the Eric Clapton  song with the same title. The photo with this post is the only hint I’m giving! This woman was probably  one of the most “inspiring” women in rock music history! Can you name any other songs that were inspired by her or written about her?
