Does anyone else want to go back in time and tell Bobby McFerrin not to write this song? No? Is that just me? I do have some weird time travel fantasies! One of them is to distract T.S. Eliot by making him watch cat videos rather than have him write those poems about cats which would eventually turn into an awful musical; telling Whitney Houston to stay away from Bobby Brown, and killing George Michael before he could write Last Christmas. OK, maybe I wouldn’t REALLY kill him, but I might try dissuading him from writing that song! With force…if necessary!
That said, if anyone out there is feeling down, grumpy, dissatisfied with life, etc. I get it. I have been in those moods myself. I hope that whatever dark cloud may be over your heads right now will not hang around too long…I honestly do! I can usually tell when people are upset (whether I want to or not). And I don’t like seeing people upset. But it is what it is!
When it comes to trivia, I’m all too familiar with grumpy moods and disappointments! When my team does shitty in a tournament or fails to qualify for a finals, I get into funks so….funky that my husband knows he has to play rodeo clown to distract me somehow. Take me to the zoo, take me on a camping trip…anything to take my mind off trivial disappointments!
I’m looking forward to my little weekend getaway, where I’ll be camping for a couple of nights in lovely Northern MI. It’s not likely I’ll be posting any new blogs until Sunday or Monday. I may be doing more little blogs about Michigan state parks, however! The last one I posted Thursday has gotten a lot of hits! Maybe in addition to the trivia, i will have to branch out and become a “travel blogger!” LOL…I certainly have traveled around Michigan quite a lot.

Whenever my husband is in the dumps, I say this to him. This is a quote from Better Off Dead.
On that note, have a nice weekend, everyone! Remember it’s always darkest before the dawn, when one door closes another one opens, when life gives you lemons add vodka and make vodka collinses, buck up little camper… keep your chins up! I know words can’t make feelings change, but knowing that other people care about you when you’re feeling down might help a little! 🙂
