We were at our local library today and saw this little fella chillin’ out on one of the entry doors to the library. We learned from the library staff that the bugger had been there since morning!

This moth was as big as a small bird!

Unfortunately, the only thing I had resembling a camera was my ancient slider-style dumbphone. I still have not upgraded to a “smartphone,” though I do have a tablet that I use in wi-fi enabled zones. I actually like having moments where I’m only accessible by phone/text!

As for this moth, people couldn’t stop looking at this thing – and the poor dear was probably just trying to sleep! We were visiting the library to rent some DVDs, one of which was Porkys. We missed a trivia question about this movie in a game almost two weeks ago. I’ll have to be sure I keep a lookout for Alex Karras and Susan Clark!

I have never actually seen this movie. But I do like some of the dramatic quotes!
