It seems that perhaps our trivia team needed a change of scenery. Ever since our normal trivia spot Arbor Brewing Company Microbrewery had to cancel trivia for one night a couple of weeks ago, we decided to test the waters at Aubree’s Pizzeria & Grill with Sporcle Live – Detroit host Rachel Sue (whom we could not tag). Turns out that for the time being, the team wants to continue playing at Aubree’s in addition to ABC Microbrewery. We have to say the fight for gift cards is probably equally difficult at both places. ABC has some heavy-hitting competitive teams, and tiebreakers and close-scoring games are pretty much par for the course. But there is one beer-inspired team in particular playing regularly at Aubree’s that is a very difficult team to beat, to put it mildly. But we wouldn’t be living up to our name if we didn’t give it the good old college try. And our dark watery overlord expects nothing less of us. We are gluttons for punishment.
